Job Description:

Sales strategists are responsible for developing and executing sales plans. They work with a team of salespeople to determine which products or services should be sold to which customers, and they create strategies for how those sales should be made. It may also help develop training programs for their sales teams so that everyone is on the same page when it comes to selling specific products or services.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Developing business plans for clients based on their unique needs and goals
  •  Creating marketing plans to increase brand awareness for companies’ products or services
  •  Identifying potential client needs and providing solutions that will increase sales or improve customer satisfaction
  •  Conducting research on the current state of an industry or sector, including analysing market trends, consumer behaviour patterns, technology advancements, and competitor activity
  •  Managing the sales process for a company’s products or services, including identifying opportunities and closing deals
  •  Providing leadership and guidance to sales teams to help them reach their goals
  •  Developing strategic plans to improve sales results, including creating training programs to improve employee performance and customer service skills
  •  Developing new sales opportunities by identifying potential clients who have yet to be contacted by the company
  •  Identifying new markets or industries where the company could profitably expand its operations

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or any equivalent field
  •  Experience with a high-touch personalised sales system that is complemented by automation and digital sales processes and tools
  •  Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills
  •  Superior oral and written communication skills
  •  Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently
  •  Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise
