Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Backend Developer with 1 year of experience to join our dynamic development team. As a Trainee Backend Developer, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in backend web development, working closely with our experienced developers. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coding, eager to learn, and looking to expand their proficiency in building robust and efficient web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to contribute to the development and design of backend components for web applications.
- Write clean and logical code while troubleshooting and resolving backend issues that arise.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute valuable feedback for code improvements.
- Help maintain and update technical documentation, including API documentation.
- Assist in the creation of efficient and reusable backend systems.
- Analyze data, processes, and codes to identify areas for improvement and troubleshoot problems on the server side.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project objectives and enhance the overall functionality of web applications.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of backend web development techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Learn and implement software development best practices and participate in design and code reviews.
- Contribute to improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of backend applications.
- Translate functional requirements into effective backend solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 1 year of practical experience in web application backend development.
- Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as PHP, Python, or JavaScript.
- Good problem-solving skills and clear verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new backend technologies and practices.
- Basic knowledge of backend architecture concepts and trends.
- Exposure to REST API development and integration.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and server-side efficiency.
- Interest in backend security principles and best practices.
- Exposure to third-party API integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and SQL databases.
- Basic experience with unit, integration, and backend testing.
