Job Description:
We are in search of a seasoned Senior Data Scientist to lead our data science endeavors, guiding the development of advanced analytical and machine learning solutions. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, mentoring junior team members, and providing strategic insights to shape our data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct data analysis and machine learning projects, overseeing the work of junior and mid-level data scientists while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Take ownership of complex data preprocessing and manipulation tasks, utilizing your deep expertise in Python, NumPy, and Pandas.
- Exhibit mastery of machine learning algorithms, including their selection, optimization, and deployment in real-world applications.
- Spearhead and strategize computer vision initiatives, including image classification, object detection, and image segmentation, employing advanced libraries such as OpenCV, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Architect, fine-tune, and deploy highly sophisticated machine learning models for predictive analytics, computer vision tasks, and data-driven solutions, leveraging your extensive experience.
- Create impactful and visually compelling data visualizations using tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn to communicate insights effectively.
- Play a critical role in gathering project requirements from cross-functional teams and translating them into actionable data-driven strategies, providing thought leadership and innovation.
- Establish and maintain a robust documentation system for code, experiments, and key findings, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Stay at the forefront of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and computer vision, ensuring that the team remains ahead of industry trends through training and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- 1. Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related discipline).
- 2. Expert-level programming skills in Python, demonstrated through a history of delivering advanced data solutions.
- 3. Proven expertise in critical libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, and Keras, with a strong record of impactful contributions.
- 4. A track record of successfully solving complex data challenges and a passion for using data to drive strategic decision-making.
- 5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with the capability to mentor and guide team members.
- 6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a collaborative team player.
