Job Description:
Programmers Force are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an SQA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test cases, as well as establishing and maintaining testing methodologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web (frontend and backend) and mobile applications using Selenium, Postman, and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, define test plans, and prioritize testing activities.
- Implement and maintain testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate system functionality and performance.
- Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize BrowserStack or similar tools for cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or other continuous integration tools.
- Develop and maintain unit tests to validate code changes and ensure code coverage.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web automation testing.
- Experience with mobile automated testing frameworks such as Appium is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in Python for test automation.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman for backend testing.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Must Have:
- Experience in automated testing for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Selenium, Postman, Python, and Git.
- Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
