Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Data Scientist to join our team, bringing your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and computer vision. As a Mid-Level Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven solutions, collaborating with crossfunctional teams, and contributing to the growth of our data science initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct data analysis and machine learning projects, overseeing the work of junior and mid-level data scientists while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Take ownership of complex data preprocessing and manipulation tasks, utilizing your deep expertise in Python, NumPy, and Pandas.
- Exhibit mastery of machine learning algorithms, including their selection, optimization, and deployment in real-world applications.
- Spearhead and strategize computer vision initiatives, including image classification, object detection, and image segmentation, employing advanced libraries such as OpenCV, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Architect, fine-tune, and deploy highly sophisticated machine learning models for predictive analytics, computer vision tasks, and data-driven solutions, leveraging your extensive experience.
- Create impactful and visually compelling data visualizations using tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn to communicate insights effectively.
- Play a critical role in gathering project requirements from cross-functional teams and translating them into actionable data-driven strategies, providing thought leadership and innovation.
- Establish and maintain a robust documentation system for code, experiments, and key findings, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Stay at the forefront of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and computer vision, ensuring that the team remains ahead of industry trends through training and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related discipline). A Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus.
- Proficient programming skills in Python, with a strong track record of data analysis and model development.
- Demonstrated expertise in key libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Proven experience in tackling complex data problems and a passion for working with data to drive insights and solutions.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a track record of successful project contributions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong team player with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
