Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Fullstack Developer with 1 year of experience to join our dynamic development team. As a Trainee Fullstack Developer, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in both frontend and backend web development, working closely with our experienced developers. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coding, eager to learn, and looking to expand their proficiency in building responsive and user-friendly web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to contribute to the development and design of frontend and backend components for web applications.
- Assist in creating and enhancing the front-end web architecture, ensuring applications are responsive and visually appealing.
- Write clean and logical code while troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute valuable feedback for code improvements.
- Help maintain and update technical documentation, including API documentation.
- Assist in the creation of efficient and reusable front-end systems.
- Analyze data, processes, and codes to identify areas for improvement and troubleshoot problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project objectives and enhance the overall user experience.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of web development techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Learn and implement software development best practices and participate in design and code reviews.
- Contribute to improving reliability, scalability, and performance of applications.
- Collaborate with the backend team to understand and support APIs and services.
- Translate visual and written designs into effective front-end components.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 1 year of practical experience in web application development.
- Proficiency in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Good problem-solving skills and clear verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to completing tasks.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX concepts and frontend development trends.
- Familiarity with modern server-side languages such as PHP, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with frontend frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular is a plus.
- Exposure to REST API development and integration.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of modern UI libraries such as Bootstrap, Vue.js and Vuetify.
- Familiarity with performance optimisation and responsive web design.
- Interest in backend security principles and best practices.
- Exposure to third-party API integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and SQL databases.
- Basic experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
