Program Description:
- Enroll in an immersive Graduate Gateway Program tailored to develop essential skills in product design methodologies and practices, with a focus on user-centered design principles.
- Collaborate closely with seasoned product designers to gain comprehensive insights into product ideation, prototyping, testing, and iteration phases.
- Engage in hands-on experiences in product design documentation, including wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications, under the guidance of experienced mentors.
- Participate actively in design workshops, user research sessions, and design critiques to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.
- Assist in translating user insights into innovative product designs that meet business goals and user requirements, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Utilize design tools and software such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD to create and iterate on designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.
Education & Prerequisite Requirements:
Must have:
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Strong creative and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbal, for effective collaboration and presentation of design concepts.
Good to have:
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles and methodologies, showcasing a passion for user-centric design.
- Previous exposure to design tools and software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar, demonstrating a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
- Basic understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), facilitating collaboration with development teams and implementation of design concepts.
