Program Description:

• Enroll in a comprehensive Graduate Gateway Program tailored to develop essential skills in software engineering, covering frontend and backend development.
• Collaborate closely with seasoned software engineers to gain comprehensive insights into software design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Engage in hands-on experiences in frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Vue.js framework, along with Nuxt.js for building server-side rendered applications, under the guidance of experienced mentors.
• Participate actively in backend development using PHP language and the Laravel framework for building robust and scalable web applications, as well as Nest.js for creating efficient and scalable server-side applications.
• Gain exposure to fullstack development by integrating Vue.js with Nuxt.js frontend and Laravel with Nest.js backend to create modern, responsive, and feature-rich web applications.
• Utilize software development tools and technologies such as Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows and streamline the development process.

Education & Prerequisite Requirements:

Must have:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript and PHP, with a focus on frontend and backend development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with frontend development frameworks such as Vue.js and Nuxt.js, and backend frameworks such as Laravel and Nest.js, showcasing a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
• Previous exposure to software engineering best practices, design patterns, and data structures/algorithms.
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture concepts.
